Our Services

At Chronos, we offer four key services designed to foster meaningful connections between seniors and foster children. Our entire process is guided by strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants. Both seniors and foster children undergo thorough safety training, and every interaction is supervised by a third person. Meetings always take place in a public space, never in the homes of either the senior or the foster child.

01

Participant Pairing

We match foster children and elderly participants based on shared interests to provide a strong foundation for their relationship. We encourage them to get to know each other, recognizing that our match is just the starting point. As the relationship develops, we stay flexible and responsive to feedback, making adjustments as needed. Our goal is for the initial match to spark a deeper, lasting connection that goes beyond the first step.

02

Activity Design

We take a collaborative approach to designing activities. Our team develops a range of activities—physical, cognitive, and social. These activities are provided to our volunteers, who assess and facilitate them with participants. We want these activities to serve as a tool to help participants get to know each other better and provide ideas for what they can do together if they’re unsure where to start. Through regular discussions with our team and volunteers, we refine the activities to ensure they are most effective for fostering connections between seniors and foster children.

03

Senior Care

Our senior care program focuses on combating loneliness and ensuring the well-being of elderly participants. Foster childrens are compaions in their regular interaction. They'll engage in activities together that keep seniors physically and mentally active, and assist with daily needs. Many seniors don't have their children by their side. Our goal is to create a vibrant, supportive environment where seniors feel cared for and valued, allowing them to enjoy life’s simple pleasures while staying connected to the community

04

Youth Mentorship

We are similarly dedicated to giving foster children a sense of family and belonging. Through meaningful relationships with seniors, foster children gain the guidance and support that comes from having a caring adult in their lives. These interactions offer unique learning opportunities—whether it’s life skills, wisdom, or simply the warmth of having someone who genuinely cares. At Chronos, we aim to create a familial bond that helps foster children grow and thrive.
