Reine Huang
Reine Huang is the founder and chief executive officer of Chronos. She is currently a high school senior, an aspiring engineer, and a social entrepreneur. Reine's research expertise includes heat transfer modeling and computer vision analysis. She is passionate about youth empowerment and senior well-being. The two demographics of people hold special significance in her life. She's dedicated to social initiatives, including founding Chronos, which aims to bridge the gap between generations and improve the lives of both foster children and the elderly. In her spare time, Reine enjoys watching F1 and cafe hopping with friends.

To Reine Chronos is...
A deeply personal mission to bridge the emotional distance and alleviate the loneliness she and her grandparents experienced.

Reine spent her childhood closely with her grandparents and hence developed a profound connection with them. Her family immigrated to Canada when she was in the seventh grade. The distance—9,765 km—combined with the later pandemic, intensified Reine's longing for her grandparents, knowing they missed her just as much. Reine’s grandmother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease for several years, and with each video call, Reine could feel her grandmother slowly forgetting her. The mutual feelings of loneliness and desperation deeply influenced Reine’s vision for Chronos.
